. . .Take a class?
Anyone who wants to take classes at TennBarU has to be enrolled as a student first (see "Create a student account"). We maintain a student account for everyone who takes classes at TennBarU. The student account is where your information is stored. It includes: student contact info, BPR number, name of your firm etc. It also has a list of classes that you have enrolled in and the status of the classes.

You have to be logged in to your student account to be able to purchase, start or resume a class. The course catalog is a listing of all the courses that are available. When you are logged into your student account and click on the course catalog link in the left panel navigation area, an "Add to Cart' button is added to each item in the course catalog. Click on the "Add" button to add that course to your shopping cart. After clicking the "Add" button you will be taken to your shopping cart page where you can either return to the catalog or continue on to checkout.

. . .Create a Student Account?
Click on the "Login" link at the top of the left hand navigational bar. If you have an account setup, just enter your email address as the user name and then enter your password in the password field. If your login succeeds you will be taken to your student account page where you can purchase a new course, start a course you have purchased previously, resume a course that you had started in an earlier session or check on the status of your courses.

If you have not setup a student account yet, click on the "Create a new account" link on the Login page. Fill in the form (several of the fields are required - please make sure to fill out the form completely). An email address is required of all students to be able to take TennBarU classes. After you have completed the form and clicked the submit button, an email will be sent to the email address you have used as your user name. To be able to access your student account, click the link in your email message (or copy and paste it into the URL field in your browser). You will be taken back to the Login window where you can login and access your account page. Once your account is activated you can login to access your account without waiting for an email to be sent to you.

. . .Log into your Account?
Click the "Login" link at the top of the left panel navigation area. If you have an account setup, enter your email address and password and you will be taken to your student account page. If you have forgotten your password, see the "Get a New Password" section later on this page.

A couple of notes about the login process at TennBarU:

• Cookies have to be enabled in your browser to use TennBarU. The cookies can do no damage to your computer. They just hold a value that lets us update course files in your student account. It is deleted as soon as you quit your browser.
• A login session is active until your browser is restarted. If you quit your browser, you will need to log back in the next time you visit TennBarU.

. . .Get a New Password?
If you cannot login because you have forgotten your password, Click on the "I forgot my password" link on the Login page. Enter your email address and if you have an account setup already, a new password will be emailed to you. You will need to use this password to login to your account.

. . . Take a Legalspan Class?
In the "Course Catalog" page, click on the Legalspan logo. This will open up a new browser window into the TennBarU catalog at Legalspan. At the present time, you will need to log in to their system to purchase classes. We are working with them to allow TennBarU students to be able to login to TennBaru and have access to our Legalspan classes with a singular login. This should also give you access to all of your classes and their status through your TennBarU student account page.
