This program will focus on the process and skills for successful appellate practice in federal courts. Federal appellate judges, the Sixth Circuit Clerk, experienced practitioners, and former federal appellate clerks will explain the key steps in the federal appellate process, providing unique and valuable insight. This six-hour program will address best practices for federal appellate practice, including compliance with rules of appellate procedure, brief-writing, and other important topics.
