The Tennessee International Affairs Department assists Tennessee small and medium size businesses in navigating the exporting process, and assists with company matchmaking. This session will discuss the set-up strategies to be used for international companies locating in Tennessee—such as company formation, initial investment of funds, employment of workers, etc.—and then how to best utilize the export assistance services of the International Affairs Department to avoid common pitfalls and misunderstandings associated with an international enterprise located in the U.S. with the goal of exporting products.
