Mr. Coughlin practices in the following areas: Insurance Defense; Civil Practice; Torts; Probate; Workers Compensation; Appellate Practice. He attended Tulane University, B.A., cum laude, 1991. He also received his law degree from The University of Missouri, J.D., 1994.
Mr. Coughlin's memberships include: Kingsport, Bristol and Tennessee (General, Solo & Small Firm Section, Chair, 2004-2006; Litigation Section, Executive Council, 2003-present) Bar Associations. Admissions: 1994, Tennessee; 1995, Missouri; 1996, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee and U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit. Mr. Coughlin has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist since 2004 by the Tennessee Commission on C.L.E. and Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He also served as the President of the Bristol Bar in 2010. |
